Collection: Penhaligon's
William Penhaligon was born in 1837 and spent his formative years in Madron, Penzance, England. It was here he dreamed his plan to become an olfactory entertainer and barber.
After moving to London in 1869, William’s dreams came to fruition and in 1970 he opened his first barbershop in Jermyn Street and hence Penhaligon’s was established.
As the resident barber in a nearby Turkish Baths, he was inspired to make his first fragrance, Hammam Bouquet, and the story goes on today.
